spindly plants are pushing skyward. Can you see yourself excited about getting your hands in the dirt, thinking of next year’s wood for winter heat and glad another Maine winter is over? There are many blogs, websites and forums on self sufficient Maine farming.  I grew up on a Maine farm and learned about many types of farming. It gets in your system, is basic, wholesome and frees you up to not be trapped inside to enjoy all Maine farming offers. Maine Little Leaguers Are Digging Out Gloves And Bats.

Spring weather, canoe races in Maine. Little leaguers digging out the bat, ball and gloves and getting in shape for the summer season. I have sponsored a team for 25 years and am excited to see the team practice, work hard and come together as the season rolls along. Did you play little league as a child? Ice cream after the game, win or lose. Laughing, winning, getting hopelessly behind.

Life lessons and sticking together going thu the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat. That’s summer living when you are a kid in Maine.
